  1. Interesting spelling for Mable Tompson.

I am imagining her as a teacher. Do you think the Montauk postcard means it was from Long Island?

    1. It could be, there is also a ship called Montauk. I could only find one reference to the postcard for a year and that was 1909.

    2. I think the same person wrote both names. So the spelling of Tompson must be correct.

  2. Marie Mary Bjornstad (October 1881 - ?) living in Lake Park, Becker, Minnesota. Her father's name was Mikal Bjornstad (Find A Grave Memorial# 39707060 has a nice bio) and by 1910, her mother Josephine (Find A Grave Memorial# 39707057) apparently passed away.

Marie married Edward Larsen and moved into North Dakota.

  3. I found out that the Montauk refers to the camera used to take the photo. It was made by G Gennert Co. located in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. The Gennert Company was a wholesaler in photograpic supplies.
