This is a cool snapshot from the antique shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.
I think that is a little snow on the ground.

This is an old snapshot from the Tin Ceiling a Antique Shop in Park Rapids Minnesota.
A man and his bull in front of a haystack.. The bull was the foundation of his herd of cattle.
The bulls all had nose rings, I remember feeling sorry for ours. He was very gentle and I used to pet him all the time. One day I wandered into the pasture and was petting his leg, it caused a bit of excitement…I was saved by one of the neighbor boys…of course I was certain I was in no danger.
It would be nice if someone would recognize this old snapshot…I would love to have a photo of my grandfather with one of his bulls.

Three work horses and maybe a mule.
Most farmers took really good care of their horses and they were real proud of their teams.

This is a Real Photo Postcard from Memory Lane Antique Shop in Erhard Minnesota.
A person with a small foal and lots of chickens. Unfortunately the photographer cut off the persons head.
This postcard is from 1904 to 1918.

A farmyard; complete with a building, two wagons, a pump and a boy with a horse. I love the boys big hat, checkered shirt and he has the rope coiled perfectly.

Everyone is lined up on the hill for the photo. They have quite a unique fence off to the right…it looks to be built from posts and poles are woven in and out of the posts.

A boy with his dog. Looks like a Cocker Spaniel to me. I had fun looking around this photo. It is probably from the 1950’s. The graduation photo and then a baby picture with those bronzed baby shoes, the doily, the pillow and the couch that has a sparkly thread woven in the upholstery material …and of course the blanket that helped keep the couch clean.

A small child and a big dog…most likely a Spaniel of some sort.

This is a really old snapshot from the antique shop in Park Rapids, Minnesota
A small child with a kitten. The lady in the photo is wearing an almost pigeon breasted gown…but the hem length has risen from the floor. So I will guess this photo is from around 1915.

Two men and a woman and a dog my best guess is that they are brothers and a sister.
Here is another snapshot of the family.

I was puzzled by this photo. The child is in summer clothing and the women are in coats and hats. Well…you have to think that years ago some of the cars were open air…and none had heaters so on a cool day you would need a coat. I think the little girl is dressed appropriately for a summer day at home and she probably just came out to have her photo taken with the travellers.

Two fellows by a lake.
I think they are at this place.
It looked familiar to me.
This is an old postcard of Lake Itasca and it says Park Rapids Minnesota…but this lake and Itasca State Park are about 22 miles from Park Rapids…no doubt this is just an advertising tool. Everyone wants to have a State Park…I believe Park Rapids is their mailing address.
The cottage is the same as is the dock. In the postcard there are some trees on the right…and they are missing from the snapshot.

There is lots going on in this photo; a campfire, getting your hair fixed and note the swim suits on the fender of the old car. My guess is that they went to the lake for the day.

Everyone put on a hat and went to the lake for a photo. This was most likely taken in the early 1900’s. Some of the women have huge bunches of flowers.

From time to time I get photos from people. Sometimes they are mailed and sometimes they are emailed.
These were emailed from Jim K. ( He looks for photos in antique shops also! )
Hi, Connie! Long time!
I'd like to share these three photos with you, in case you're desperate for some photos to share with your readers!
I picked these up years ago at an antique mall near Akron, Ohio.
They seem a bit 1930s to me. But as if Martha Graham choreographed for an Ayn Rand piece. So stark and angry and angular!
All three of these photos are NOT marked on the back in any way, and all of them have glue residue covering the back. The vertical photo is probably 11x14, while the other two are 8x10.
I'd love your thoughts!!
(By the way, I had a couple of full-circle moments last year. A pair of pictures that I bought in Brimfield made their way back to a relative in Syracuse with the help of Karl, and four pictures that I bought in Chardon made it to a relative in Iowa. I have TEN photos of an Akron family, and reached out to descendants and was abruptly hung-up on or ignored. Nobody wants them, and they're GORGEOUS! Sad...)
Hope you're well, etc.
Jim K
Perhaps someone out there can shed some light on these photos. All of the dancers are barefoot…one lady seems to have finger waves in her hair. In the last photo they all look angry to me.

We had a Full Circle with three wedding photos.
Readers found a tree at Ancestry and Iggy emailed Karen. She contacted me and the wedding photos were mailed.
Hello,
Thank you for your kind offer to send the photos of the Jastrow/Gollnick wedding party. These people are in my family tree. I would gladly add their pictures to them.
Karen
Hi Connie,
The photos arrived yesterday. I'm so glad you translated the information on the back. I would never have been able to read it.
I wish I had more information to add to these people but they are collateral and I really don't know much about that line.
I will put a donation in the mail for you tomorrow. Your efforts are very much appreciated.
Karen
Nice to have a Full Circle with the wedding photos. Thanks for stopping by. Do come again.
